If there's one thing I'm slowly getting in to it's finding the perfect make up base for my skin type (highly sensitive, dry to combination, annoyingly). It has been such a struggle to find bases that not only get along with my skin i.e. don't make me break out in rashes/spots and can look good aka "natural" at the same time.

After a couple of months of research, YouTube videos and blog posts, I found another base aside from my Biore BB cream, Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua and MAC Studio Fix powder that my skin seems to be liking very much- the bareMinerals Complexion Rescue.

During our trip to Malaysia last January, I spotted it over at Sephora and was thinking about whether or not to purchase it. Being over 135 Malaysian Ringgit, I was debating if I would risk spending the money only to have my skin hate it. But, because I'm weak and a sucker for any recommendation that Anna makes, I bit the bullet and purchased it. Thank goodness I did!

I'm in the shade 03 Buttercream and I am so happy with how it matches my skin! It also is super hydrating and light to wear and I find that it lasts all day without moving around or looking cakey. I like to pair it with my Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer under my eyes to brighten it (my radio shift has turned me into a Panda) and I use my MUFE Full cover concealer or any blemishes or spots that I may have. What an amazing base!
