Sunday Roundup: Current [Holiday] Skin Obsessions

By Karla Aguas - 12:24:00 PM

I don't think I'll ever get used to big companies sending me products to try. I get this overwhelming sense of "kilig" every time I come home and a huge package is waiting for me thatswhatshesaid.

I'm very blessed to be able to try new releases, old favorites and cult products and I always try to give my honest and objective opinion. I don't always love what is sent to me, but when I do, I make sure to let you guys know that IZ DA SHIZ. Like my current Holiday favorites.

Nivea Body Wash

First of all, I SMELL LIKE A FRESH SHOWER GODDESS! No, really. I honestly do. I don't know if these body washes are new releases this December but it was my first time to try some of them and I am now currently obsessed. I looooveee how fresh they all smell, how clean they make me feel, and how moisturized they leave my skin.

My favorite scents at the moment are the Waterlily and oil- it has a very girly, floral but not overpowering scent and the Pure Fresh scent, which literally smells like you just got out of the shower and are super clean.

For the days where I feel my skin needs a little bit more moisture, I opt for the Creme Care body wash- which is so cool! I never thought that a body wash could be creamy and still work but this one does and leaves my skin feeling that bit more hydrated and happy.

Pink Beautiq Aster Detox Scrub

When I was first asked to be sent this, I had my hesitations. Could this really work? Would my skin freak out? Would it have any "real" benefits? Well, it sure does. Let me first say that it smells very strongly of coffee so if you're not into that sent (but come on who doesn't love the smell of coffee?!) then you might want to give this scrub a pass. But I honestly don't mind smelling like Starbucks after a shower. #thatsjustme

What I love most about it is that it really helps my ingrown hairs on my legs (yes ladies, you know what I'm talking about!) I've noticed that my legs are smoother, and have less bumps ever since I started using this. I use it twice a week since my skin is quite thin and sensitive but so far it hasn't given me any rashes or any harsh effects. I've also been trying it near the bum area, where the cellulite likes to live Hihi :D It's paraben free YAS! mineral oil free YAS! and all natural DOUBLE YASSSSSS!

Cetaphil Cleansing Cloths

These bad boys are my new go-to makeup wipes for all those late nights where I can't be bothered to use anything else on my face (I know, I know, sooo bad) but they really do work. What I love most about them is that they're thicker than your average makeup wipe and really do feel like a cleansing cloth. I love how gently it removes all my makeup and how it leaves my skin feeling clean. I haven't broken out from it which is a very good sign and I always make sure I have some by my vanity when I get home from events.

Thank you again to Nivea Philippines, Pink Beautiq and Cetaphil Philippines for all of my holiday goodies!!! :)
