Mom's Birthday Bonanza | 1st Vlog!

8:17:00 PM

If there's one thing my family and I love to do, it's eat. As long as there's good food, we'll be there. And birthdays are no exception. So for the past few months, my older sister Trina and I had been planning my Mom's birthday weekend. We wanted it to be as special as ever, as this year has been topsy-turvy for our Mom. God obviously saw our intentions and my Mom's actual birthday, September 25, fell on a no work holiday (hooray!) so we were able to go out on Friday, Saturday AND Sunday!

We started the festivities out by eating over at Inagiku at Makati Shangri-la Hotel. Japanese for lunch. I could have Japanese food all day, everyday if I had my way. We all got the lunch sets and BURRRPPPPPP they were SO good! We spent the entire afternoon just laughing, sharing stories and catching up with one of our family's favorite people, Steph. :)

We then headed home and got dressed for dinner out. I know, I know, what a life! But hey, it was a special occasion, and birthdays only come once a year so.... Hihi

Dinner was at EDSA Shangri-la Hotel, at a restaurant called Paparazzi. It's funny cause we had booked our Staycation for the weekend at the same hotel for the next day. Talk about basically living there! Haha :) #shareholders

We ordered some of their famous fresh pastas, a delicious cold cuts platter and their roasted chicken. Yum yum yum. It may not look like big servings, but let me tell you it was SO RICH, we could barely finish our dishes! (except Nico, he's always hungry Hihi)

And then came the actual Staycation- which I tried Vlogging for the first time. I hope you guys enjoy it. Sorry if it seems so messy and amateur-ish. It was my first time giving it a go :)

How did you spend your weekend? :)
