Don't get me wrong- I love a good cut of meat. But it really does have to be a good piece. An excellently cooked, deliciously seasoned and perfectly plated dish for me to really want to try it. So you can imagine my excitement at heading to The Butcher Shop, a recommendation from my sister Trina, who we all know, is a certified foodie. Just check her Instagram for proof (but I warn you, you will scroll down feeling hungry as ever).

Known for their cocktails and good ol' fashioned comfort food menu, I sat down, excited to try some of their dishes. I gotta say, I left very happy and we were very pleased with the friendly staff and the quality of their food.

I had such a good time with my family that I ended up taking my boyfriend Nico for a light dinner and drinks on his birthday. Yup, I'm that kind of foodie. I not only repeat outfits, but I'm fearlessly loyal to restaurants that I have learned to love.

Food irony: I wanted to try their steak during my first visit, but ended up getting something very dessert like. Go figure. #KarlasBrain

Can anyone guess who's childish adult order this was? I thoroughly enjoyed this meal- I even had my mother's sunny side up egg to accompany it. Bacon. Baileys. Peanut Butter. French Toast. Need I say more?
