Angkor Wat x Cambodia Trip 2013 (Part II)
12:17:00 PMAs promised, here is Part II of our Cambodia Trip. On these days we treated ourselves to a delicious dinner followed by drinks at The Raffles Hotel in Siem Reap (we showered eh, para di naman sayang ang effort Haha joke!), whole day tour of Angkor Wat and many more adventures along the way.
We were so happy (and I advise this to all you who plan to take a trip to Cambodia) to make Angkor Wat the LAST temple to visit. Try to visit all the smaller temples before visiting Angkor Wat because you should try to devote an entire day (or at least morning till late afternoon) for exploring it and appreciating all the carvings on the walls, the halls and the towers that you can climb.
Even if all the temples sort of look similar, I promise you that when you enter Angkor Wat you'll just be in complete and total awe. What I only used to see in movies and magazines, I finally saw for myself and it really made an impact on me. I felt so blessed to be in Cambodia, looking at this beautiful temple.
One of my FAVORITE pictures that I took. I love this shot so much! |
Of course the Travel Buddies need a picture in Angkor Wat too! |
We actually climbed this tower to get to the top!!! The view was BREATHTAKING (also because we climbed up all those steps we kinda lost our breath HAHA)
It started raining right after this picture was taken. Luckily we were done with our tour! :) |
And probably the CUTEST part of our tour... The monkeys!!! Look at em look at em!!!
Monkey 1: This soda is pretty delish Monkey 2: What do you suppose this is for? |
Monkey 1: Bro, don't panic. But this lady is watching us. I think she's taking a picture Monkey 2: Does my hair look okay? |
And the HIGHLIGHT of the Angkor Wat tour... The stores and canteens! Check this one out HAHA
Hope you guys liked this entry! Stay tuned for more :)
