The Biggest Blessing of my 2013 (So Far)
10:18:00 AMHi guys!!! Can I just share that I am on CLOUD 9 and I never want to leave!!! Ahhh!!! I can't believe that from now on I can openly talk about my second job- a job that I never thought I would ever get or be able to try!!!
For those that didn't get to tune in yesterday- let me tell you what my new adventure is... are you ready?

There were private auditions held for people who had appointments set (my now manager Christian was the one that called me and asked me to try it out) and from there they got 3 new VJs- Ai Dela Cruz, Sam Concepcion and ME!!!

Ever since we premiered yesterday, I have gotten nothing but sweet and supportive tweets from old and new followers! I swear, I was in shock! If you ask any one close to me, I was really bracing myself for negative tweets and hate tweets because I know how many people really love the Channel and have high expectations for it. I was so shocked and I really think God is behind everything because I got nothing but LOVE!!! I felt so welcomed into the MYX family and I really wanted to cry! (
But really, my phone lost batt in like 30 mins because I was reading tweet after tweet of sweetness and positivity, I NEVER FELT SO LOVED on Twitter in my life!!! :):):) So thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for welcoming me!!! :)
I gotta say that I've never been more excited about something in my entire life until now. I look forward to tapings and being able to try out new ways of delivering my lines and figuring how to bring out the best version of myself for the channel. I've never felt more challenged and driven and I LOVE THAT!
I truly believe that when God gives, HE GIVES EVERYTHING! I know in my heart this is just a little bit of what He has planned for me and regardless if I get to stay in MYX or not (
You guys have no idea- words cannot even begin to express the joy in my heart and I hope you won't get sick of me talking about it. This is what I was talking about that right before Holy Week I surrendered this to Him and told Him that if it isn't for me, I will let it go and focus on whatever He has planned. I feel that the Lord was just waiting for me to surrender this desire to Him so He could see my intentions and the wants of my heart! And look!!! He gave it!!!

I needed to share this with all of you because I know that some of you are experiencing what I experienced for the last couple of months. I've been at the "What about me, Lord?" stage and the "When am I ever going to get my chance or BIG Blessing?" moments and this is what I have to say to all of you: KEEP YOUR FAITH STRONG AND FOCUS ON THE LORD.
As hard and painful as it is to see others getting blessed more than you, or even seeing an "enemy" getting blessings and being happy- you have to remember that YOUR RELATIONSHIP with the Lord is the MOST important part. Stop complaining and focusing on what you don't have and focus on how you can strengthen your faith and relationship with Him. The closer you get to Him, the more you will see His amazing plans for you. He will NEVER leave you hanging, leave you with nothing and DEPRIVE you of His blessings. NEVER.

So again, thank you so much for all the tweets, emails and messages. Thank you for the support and all the love. I could not ask for a better start to this May month and to the start of my FABULOUS plans for 2013. I am BEYOND BLESSED to have not only a supportive family and boyfriend, loving and amazing Lord, but I have YOU. YOU who have not only supported me through everything I've shared on my blog, Twitter, Instagram and Tumblr, but are even supporting me now as I do my best to become the best MYX VJ that I can be.
And to all those who didn't believe in me, who said mean and hurtful things about me, who judged me, belittled me, doubted me, trash talked me, laughed at me and didn't think I could achieve anything that I wanted to- THANK YOU. It is because of you that I constantly will PUSH MYSELF to become the best at what I do. Thank you for the negativity- it drives me to become better! ;)
I hope you enjoy my weirdness on the show and I hope that together we can enjoy GREAT music at the #1 Music Channel in the Philippines. I am beyond blessed and extremely honored.

We also had our bible study days ago and it goes to show how wonderful He is that He never fails to give us the things that we really want as long as we lift them all up to Him.

Hi Mae! I got a manager after I found out I was chosen for MYX so he handles all my contracts and gigs. I was in shock lang talaga when they called me Haha! I don't know who the others were but Sam is an artista and Ai is a courtside reporter for AKTV. I don't think I'm stylish enough for OOTD posts girl! Haha :))

I spoke to my bosses and promised them that I would be able to perform in my desk job and still be able to balance my tapings. That's why my tapings are always at night instead- so I can go about my regular 8-5 job. I think you just have to assure them that you will perform your very best and not be tired when you go to work. That you will be a good employee even if you have a second job :)

Hi Mariko! OMG I WANNA CRY are you serious!??! WOW. I am beyond humbled... thank you so much. I am always so nervous when I get to the studio because the big producers are always there and I'm so afraid to mess up. But then I take a deep breath and remind myself to have fun.
